The South Willamette Special Area Zone and other projects across the Eugene are focused on helping ensure that as Eugene grows, we create great walkable neighborhoods. There is much more demand across the nation for those kind of neighborhoods than there is supply, and focusing our development into smart urban development is smart from an economic perspective.
