Amazon Corner is a multi-unit development in South Eugene, near the intersection of Amazon Parkway and 30th Ave. Despite receiving land-use appeals and neighborhood association opposition, it found support within the community to provide housing in Eugene, and was upheld by the hearing official. The opposition failed to file additional appeals, and ground has been broken.
We believe that multi-family mixed-use developments are sorely needed in Eugene and locating them along or close to our major transit corridors as recommended by the Envision Eugene process gives them the best chance for successful integration to our community. This site is extremely convenient for bicycle and transit access. The Amazon Corners development is one of the types of developments we need, and in a location where it is needed.
